BMW R60 7 – Full Restoration

This BMW R60 7 had been stood in a disused state since 1990. It was corroded, dirty, damaged and infested with mice.

The first job was to totally strip the machine  and determine what would need to be restored, cleaned, repaired or replaced.

The bike totally stripped down revealed many areas that need repair and replacement. Virtually every nut and bolt, the wheels, fuel tank, engine, lights, electrics – you name it, it all needed fixing.

Work has been coming along nicely as these before and after restoration shots show:
